Which COD is mostly played?

I know with all this UT2k4 talk that there is with reunions going on and the like; I know that ESC kinda focuses on COD. I was thinking about coming back to COD but it's been so long that I don't know which version is played by ESC or anything like that. I know a while back there was a freezetag server for COD that was very enjoyable to play but again I don't remember which version and if that sort of play still exists. Guide me oh great ones....show me the light.....show me the path!!!!
